Sulfur Stick (Strip)


  • To be used when your barrel (Wine ONLY) is not in use to help prevent bacteria including vinegar bacteria from forming.
  • Usage Rate: One stick per month when the barrel is not in use.
  • How To Use: First, light the stick. Then, suspend the stick about half way into the barrel using wire or another non-combustible material and loosely insert the bung. After five minutes, remove the sulfur strip (be careful not to burn yourself) and firmly insert the bung.
  • After you have used sulfur in a barrel be sure to throughly rinse the barrel before use!
